what we look for

we’re looking for people building emerging technology who want to show their work through an interactive, creative or experimental installation. that could be a piece of hardware people can handle, an ai system they can interact with, or a tool they can try for themselves.

the people in the room won’t necessarily know your field. give them a way to understand what you’ve built by experiencing it, without needing a technical background.

what it is, and what it isn’t

think of it as an installation, not a presentation. people come across your work as they move through the space, alongside art and music. they should be able to stop, explore it and talk to you about it.

this isn’t a seated talk, a slide deck or a product pitch. we want to know what people will see, do or try, rather than hear a sales presentation. bring a question that your work raises for people to discuss.

guests put their phones away, giving them more time to focus on each other and your installation. if your product usually needs a phone, think creatively about how people could experience it without their own.
